Cece Liqueur

Cece Liqueur is an International Award Winning Liqueur made in Australia using 100% local Fruit and Natural ingredients. "In 2006 my Brother and I opened an Italian Wood fired Pizza Restaurant in Bargo called “The Local Italian”.  Within the Kitchen my mum, Franca Cece, is the Head Chef.  Mum’s duties were plentiful including making traditional handmade pasta’s and cakes.  Even though mum was extremely busy she still managed, somehow, to fit in time to make Limoncello.  The recipe was passed on to her and had been in the family for generations.  Our clients loved mum’s cooking and after filling their bellies with her homemade Gnocchi, succulent Goat and homemade Tiramisu  there was only one thing left to top it off, mum’s Limoncello.  Mum handed out Limoncello in shot glasses to all clients at the end of their meals and she always admired their facial expressions after tasting it.  Clients begged mum to sell the Limoncello to them to take home but, since it was against the law, mum refused.  After watching this happen night after night for a year, I couldn’t help but think that there truly was a market for this liquid gold.  I began helping mum make the Limoncello and soon mastered the art. DoTerra Essential Oils

DoTerra Essential Oils

Essential oils are natural aromatic compounds found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers, and other parts of plants. They can be both beautifully and powerfully fragrant. If you have ever enjoyed the gift of a rose, a walk by a field of lavender, or the smell of fresh cut mint, you have experienced the aromatic qualities of essential oils. In addition to giving plants their distinctive smells, essential oils provide plants with protection against predators and disease and play a role in plant pollination.

Drayton’s Family Wines

See Drayton's Family Wines at the Food & Wine Expo!

The Drayton’s are one of the Hunter Valley’s pioneering winemaking families and it is one of the few companies that are still family owned and operated. It has been over one hundred and fifty years since the first Drayton trod on rich Hunter Valley soil. That Drayton was Joseph Drayton. Joseph was born in 1825 at Lincolnshire in England and at the age of twenty seven set sail for Sydney with his wife, Anna, and their two small boys. Tragically Joseph lost a son, a new born daughter and his wife during the voyage.
The family enterprise, originally started by Joseph Drayton, more than 150 years ago is now in the hands of Max Drayton and his two sons John, and Greg. Max’s 60 plus years of experience in the wine industry makes him an invaluable source of advice, not only for his sons, but also for other growers in the district. Greg has devoted his entire working life to the family company while John joined the company in 1989 after 13 years of teaching. The Drayton family is very proud of its history over six generations and the part it has played in the development of the region that is now known as “Hunter Valley Wine Country”.

It didn’t take long before a demand for their products spread to the retail market. To meet this demand Lennert & Rienna began selling macarons at the local markets in and around the Pokolbin area which provided an opportunity for people to discuss cooking techniques and flavours that they have tried. In April 2013, Exquisite Cakes by Lennert took over the premises that was occupied by Queen of Tarts thus giving them a retail presence for any and all to visit.  Since it’s small beginnings with just Lennert in the kitchen the team has now expanded to include a full time Pastry Chef / Decorator and 2 apprentice pastry chefs, both of whom are studying at Hamilton TAFE. The team, led by Lennert, focuses on delivering exceptional product quality with  high standards that are expected by some of their toughest clientele, YOU!  Check us out here.

Hunter Belle Cheese

See Hunter Belle Cheese at the Food & Wine Expo!

Amongst Australia's best for cheese, Hunter Belle Cheese produces unique, artisan cheese products from the milk of Brown Swiss Cows. All of the cheese at Hunter Belle is hand made using traditional methods, which results in the quality cheese that is loved by foodies around the country. In 2004 Hunter Belle Cheese was established. In 2008 the Chesworth Family, after 6 generations of milking cows on the banks of the Hunter River, decided they needed a change but were still passionate about the dairy industry. They made the decision to sell their much loved dairy and become the new owners of Hunter Belle Cheese. They say as one door closes another will open and that was certainly the case in this instance. Hunter Belle continued to produce its quality handmade cheese, but the business quickly began growing, moving more into wholesale trade and becoming a big part of Hunter Valley tourism, but more exciting things were ahead. In 2010 Hunter Belle Café was born and this gave Hunter Belle Cheese a welcoming front door to entice the public.  Not only did this give the business the opportunity to showcase their cheese throughout a café menu, but it allowed them to begin educating the public in the dairy industry. Viewing windows into the cheese making room, maturation room and packing room, allow visitors to understand how cheese is made, while a wall mural shows the entire production line of the dairy industry. The main attraction however is "Bessie" a life-size Fibreglass cow that can be hand milked, showing first hand exactly where milk comes from. Visit Website or Facebook

COLD PRESSED EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL - PROUDLY AUSTRALIAN GROWN AND PRODUCED Unlike other seed oils, Melilanda Extra Virgin Olive Oil contains high levels of Monounsaturated fats (MUFA) which are a healthy fat because they do not increase total cholesterol levels. Monounsaturated fats have also shown to lower bad LDL cholesterol while maintaining, and sometimes improving, the level of good HDL cholesterol. Melilanda Extra Virgin Olive Oil is Cold Pressed which means no heating is applied during the extraction stage. Heating changes the chemical structure of oil causing polyunsaturates to increase and monounsaturates to decrease. Melilanda Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced from the First Press. This means the olive pulp (waste) is not transferred back into the machine for a second extraction or refined using some other process, ensuring a pure, high quality oil. Melilanda Extra Virgin Olive Oil is tested annually by an I.O.O.C. (International Olive Oil Council) accredited laboratory. Visit Website

Mount Alexander Winery is operated by the Blamires family on the north eastern slopes of Mount Alexander in Central Victoria. The vineyard is planted in the sandy granite soils of Sutton Grange which are famed for producing high quality Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. The property and vineyard are dissected by Axe Creek. All grape growing and winemaking practices are designed to maximise quality and allow the strong fruit characteristics to be reflected in the wine. The fruit is hand pruned to target yields of less than 2 tonnes per acre. The fruit is hand picked and delivered directly to the winery for processing where fermentation vats are hand plunged and the marc is basket pressed to maximise the intensity and varietal characteristics of the fruit. Quality oak (all French) is used to store the wine for 12 months before the wine is bottled on site using the winery’s own automatic bottling line. Stelvin closures are used for all wines to ensure the wine quality will be maintained until the day it is opened and enjoyed.

We travel all over the world to source the best cheese to bring to you.

A world of cheese delivered to your door by The Smelly Cheese Shop. Cheese Club Selections direct from artisan cheesemakers to you. Cheese Master Classes include cheese appreciation; champagne, wine or beer matching; exploring local cheese, discovering it by different styles or country of origin.

A backpacking holiday through France during the early 90's was the inspiration for the creation of The Smelly Cheese Shop at Adelaide Central Market. Local chefs and cheese lovers soon discovered that this little gem was showcasing products that South Australians had not seen before. The word spread and demand grew for this carefully selected range of specialty cheese. Ongoing visits to cheese makers from all over Australia and the world, allows us to select the best on offer. Twenty years on, we are still discovering exciting new cheeses to deliver to you.

The Smelly Cheese Shop Online was created as a result of interstate visitors to our store at Adelaide Central Market, asking how they could get our cheese after they returned home. So in 2007 we began delivering cheese to your door.

The NSW Wine Society is operated by Wine Partners of Australia Pty Ltd and was formed with the mission of bringing our members the best quality wines at greatly reduced prices. There are several practices that help us do this: Rigorous Selection Process: Our team of panel experts travel to the wineries and select the best wines Australia has to offer. These wines are not always found in the big commercial wineries but are quite often found in small to medium sized boutique wineries. Cutting out the middle men: We deal directly with the wineries, giving access to wines at a greatly reduced price. We often bring the wines to you at near wholesale price, ...that's 25-35% off. No shares or contracts: Our members do not have to purchase shares or commit to any minimum purchase. We are about enjoying wine, not putting rules on it. You are never under any obligation to purchase and may withdraw or postpone your wine orders at anytime. Visit our Website.

From these humble beginnings we realised our vision; to provide Australians with a chance to have premium wines delivered to their door. Starting with an initial base of less than 100 Members, we are proud to have emerged as the largest independent direct marketer of wine in the country, delivering countless cases of wine each year to over 200,000 customers."
