OUR STORY – OLIVE HARVEST
We have paired with selected family owned groves throughout regions of Australia (including Grampians Olive Co – an organic grove in Western Victoria; Camilo Olives in Southern Victoria and Alto Olives in Southern New South Wales). We sought out each of these family owned groves based on their passion for producing high quality extra virgin olive oil, their love for the land, and for their family business values.
Our business strategy is Respect – Refill – Reduce. This relates to our aim to bring high quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) to our customers, in a sustainable manner – respecting all of the produce from the Olive Tree, and reducing our impact on the environment by offering refill options for our customers.
We encourage our customers to learn where their EVOO has come from and when it was harvested. This allows us to open the conversation about how the different profiles of each EVOO can compliment and enhance their food experience, and also of the many health benefits that high quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil brings.
We keep all of our precious Extra Virgin Olive Oils in temperature controlled fridges set at 16’C, in light proof stainless steel fustis and under nitrogen food grade gas – this ensures they are kept in optimal conditions and keep fresh!
It is our dream to bring more knowledge and value to the Extra Virgin Olive Oil consumer market, and importantly – to allow families to have regular access to fresh EVOO direct from the groves. By providing a refill option we have found a stronger focus on the value of the EVOO itself, and an increase in our customers willingness to be more liberal and free in the use of their favourite Extra Virgin Olive Oil in their everyday cooking.
We hope to help pass on our passion and enthusiasm for Extra Virgin Olive Oils to our customers, and ignite a love of Extra Virgin Olive Oil in the next generation.
